My good friend, Kate asked me to make cookie pops for her soon-to-be 4 year-old niece, Maddi. Maddi's party was a big candy theme. Can you imagine...a bunch of 4 year-olds at a candy birthday party? How FUN! She texted me the invitation and I hoped to make the cookies coordinate with the colors!
So my cookies were not only cookie pops, but they were cookie *LOLLI* pops. So fun!

OOPS!!! Big mess! I needed to cut back on the icing
and just take it slower. Plus - I did NOT like
the color combo for these.
Whew! Thank God I made some extras!
MUCH better!!!!
This was my first intentional attempt using the
"wet on wet" technique. My icing is not the kind
that dries completely rock hard (like royal) so I was nervous about this!
It worked though!!!! It blended very nicely.
I loved the cellophane. That made it REALLY
look like a lollipop!
